Fighting Sickle Cell Disease Through the Arts
Maroon 9 was founded in memory of a loved one lost to Sickle Cell Disease. Our Sickle Cell Arts Advocacy Program uses the power of performance, storytelling, and community events to raise awareness and drive meaningful change across the DFW area.
Sickle cell disease affects approximately 100,000 Americans — disproportionately impacting Black communities. Through art, we amplify the voices of those affected and connect families with vital resources and support.
